IDEXX is the global leader in veterinary diagnostics, and we have an opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team in New South Wales to grow the companion animal portfolio as we continue to bring new and innovative diagnostic and software solutions to the veterinary market. This regional leadership role is critical to continue our track record of growth and market leadership within the industry.

The primary responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Execute Commercial Strategy through sales planning and execution, delivering positive sales outcomes, identifying growth opportunities, as well as retaining and growing business.

  • Lead and Develop your team by motivating and consulting with the field team by empowering them to identify opportunities and execute on commercial priorities and inspiring the team through coaching and mentoring. Embed an effective sales process and drive consistency that continuously improves performance, identify knowledge and skills gap and implement training.

  • Engage Key Customers by developing commercially astute agreements, building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers and supporting directly at a regional level, and through the team at clinic level.

  • Collaborate Cross Functionally across the IDEXX business and leverage commercial excellence to improve field force effectiveness.

  • The ability to demonstrate a successful personal sales track record

  • You will be highly customer focused, and results driven

  • A strong leader with proven experience empowering a successful sales team across multiple locations

  • A highly experienced sales manager with a minimum of 5 years senior sales management responsibility

  • A Business or science related qualifications highly regarded

  • Experience within the veterinary or animal health industries or related fields is desirable, but not essential for outstanding candidates.
