We give you a world of potential

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager Northern Europe to join our Sales team, responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing relationships within a defined territory.

The successful candidate will take a consultative sales approach, selling compliance and governance services and solutions to issuers, predominantly public and private companies seeking to meet regulatory, disclosure and corporate governance obligations.

Our Investor Engagement suite brings together Georgeson Advisory, Investor Intelligence and Investor Relations services, supported by AGM and registry expertise.

This includes helping issuers understand their shareholder base, develop effective engagement strategies, manage complex governance and transaction situations, and build stronger, more informed relationships with investors and market advisers.

You will engage with senior executives, legal teams, investor relations, finance leaders and boards of directors, leveraging your strong knowledge of capital markets and understanding of compliance and governance challenges to build trusted relationships and deliver value to our clients.
A role you will love
The day-to-day of this role will involve developing new business and growing relationships with existing clients across your territory. You will take a consultative approach to selling governance, compliance and investor services to public and private companies.

You will build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including executives, legal, investor relations and finance teams, helping clients navigate their regulatory and governance requirements while identifying opportunities to deliver value.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading the delivery of financial and business analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, multi-year strategic planning, profitability and margin analysis across the business.
  • Driving revenue growth by identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities across the assigned territory.
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline of prospects, including issuers preparing for IPOs, listed companies and growth-stage organisations.
  • Conducting client meetings, presentations and solution demonstrations tailored to specific client needs.
  • Developing and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships to support retention, renewals and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Partnering with client services, product and marketing teams to ensure a high-quality client experience and provide valuable market feedback.
  • Developing strong knowledge of compliance, disclosure and corporate governance requirements affecting issuers, while staying up to date with market and regulatory developments.
  • Building and deepening relationships with key market intermediaries, including PR advisers, investment banks and law firms, who can help identify opportunities and introduce the full Investor Engagement suite of services to their clients.
  • Developing and executing a territory sales strategy aligned with business objectives and maintaining accurate CRM and pipeline records.
  • Accurately forecasting revenue and consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager Northern Europe with:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law or a related field, with an MBA or JD considered an advantage.
  • Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within compliance, governance, SaaS, legal or financial services, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with C-suite executives and boards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex compliance and governance requirements into client-focused solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and capital markets, with an understanding of areas such as SRD II, ESG and proxy processes.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and commercially driven, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a competitive environment.
  • Strategic and client-centric mindset, with strong business acumen and the ability to build long-term relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work effectively across sales, client services, product and marketing teams.
  • Past experience in selling financial services products within the Nordic region.

Other key skills you will bring to the role:

  • Proven B2B sales experience in compliance, governance or financial services, with a track record of new business, cross-selling and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and consultative selling skills, with the ability to engage confidently with C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, with the ability to translate complex compliance and governance requirements into client-focused solutions.
  • Highly organised and collaborative, with strong project management, networking and Salesforce skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
