We are looking for an experienced commercial leader to drive the growth of our Destinations business.

Our Destinations business helps tourism boards, destination marketing organizations, cities and regions better understand travelers through travel intelligence and data analytics while expanding their reach through innovative media solutions. We partner with destinations around the world to transform data into actionable insights and marketing strategies that support tourism growth and economic development.


As Regional Sales Manager, Destinations you will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy across the region, managing a team of sales professionals, growing strategic client relationships and identifying new business opportunities. This role combines regional leadership, business development, customer engagement and people management in a fast-paced international environment.


What you'll do
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Destinations business.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of other sales professionals, fostering collaboration, engagement and performance.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of destination and tourism clients while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership success.
  • Develop and close new business opportunities to expand our footprint across the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tourism boards, destination marketing organizations, government entities, media agencies and other industry stakeholders.
  • Translate travel data, market insights and media capabilities into compelling customer propositions and business outcomes.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs and commercial performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize results.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, Marketing and Solution Consulting teams to deliver value for customers and support business growth.
  • Represent the business externally and build a strong professional network within the travel, tourism, destination marketing and media ecosystem.

Our Destinations business supports destination organizations globally, helping them understand traveler behavior, assess market opportunities and engage audiences through data-driven media solutions. We work with national tourism boards, regional tourism authorities, cities and destination marketing organizations around the world.


About you

You are a commercially minded leader who combines strong relationship-building capabilities with a passion for the travel and tourism industry.


You bring:


  • Significant experience in sales, business development, account management or commercial leadership roles.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing sales or commercial teams.
  • A strong background in media, advertising, digital marketing, travel intelligence, data analytics or related sectors.
  • Hands-on experience within Eastern Europe and a well-established professional network across the region.
  • Experience working with destination marketing organizations, tourism boards, government tourism bodies, travel companies, airlines, media agencies or comparable organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform data and insights into impactful commercial opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to engage senior decision-makers and build trusted, long-term partnerships.
  • A strategic mindset combined with a proactive, hands-on approach to achieving business objectives.
  • Fluency in English. Russian language skills would be a strong advantage.
