As a Regional sales manager - Adult Vaccines the purpose of the role is to drive business impact and vaccine access through full accountability for key accounts and stakeholder engagement of CVMD HCPs (Cardio, Endo, Nephro). The role serves as the orchestrator of cross-functional collaboration with full accountability for ensuring availability, endorsement, recommendation and sale of Adult Vx in the allocated accounts.

Have strong mastery of disease, product, and market dynamics and has prior experience interaction with CVMD specialists, demonstrating success with Cardio metabolic products furthermore this role proactively identifies opportunities, delivers insights, and executes targeted omni-channel engagement to maximize reach and effectiveness. Acting as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals, applies Value based selling/ IMPACT Selling and GDM selling excellence to enhance value delivery.

A strong background and proven experience in engaging Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disease (CVMD) specialists is essential to expand adult vaccination opportunities within this critical healthcare segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present clear, evidence-based data and treatment benefits that align with specialists' clinical needs and address their unique challenges

  • Strategically deliver key messages and sequence messages / discussions over multiple calls to transform specialist’s perception from “this is not my role” to becoming a prescriber and advocate for vaccines, with individualized call flow for each specialty group

  • Present clear, evidence-based data and treatment benefits that align with specialists' clinical needs and address their unique challenges

  • Establish strategies for the key accounts regarding e.g., prioritization and setting up the key objectives to achieve (e.g., to establish the on-site vaccination infrastructure and processes) including End to end account management engaging different external stakeholders with full accountability

  • Map key stakeholders and spheres of influence within the account (account admin, department heads, and other decision-makers) and engage them to build deep, strategic relationships

  • Coordinate complex care pathways, and ensure seamless integration of patient’s journey e.g., from prescription by specialists to primary care settings for administration

  • Identify potential enablers (e.g., nurses) and leverage their impact to enhance the connectivity between specialty and primary care settings

  • Drive the cross functional teams ensuring access, availability & external expert engagement in the territory

  • Follow & adhere to function ways of working (e.g., reporting systems, etc)

  • Excellence in product and disease knowledge, & up to date in understanding territory, competitor & surrounding healthcare systems with timely feedback, Understand the main goals of CVMD treatments, including symptom management, ongoing disease monitoring, secondary prevention etc.

  • Follow & adhere to function ways of working (e.g., reporting systems, event management)

  • Excellence in orchestrating omni-channel engagement through proper segmentation & targeting while mastering available channels

  • Skillful implementation of patient focused GSO & GDM selling

  • Identify and shape the influencing structure in the network between specialty and primary care settings to maximize peer-to-peer impact and drive halo effect

  • Compliant execution of activities with all internal governance & external regulations

  • Completion of mandatory learnings & annual certification of required SOPs & policies

  • Live & role model GSK culture

  • Care about GSK assets and optimize the company resources

Accountability:

  • Achievement of identified sales and commercial targets

  • Achievement of identified critical lead measures of the region (e.g. call rate, call concentration, business planning, capability development)

  • Account business strategy, planning and execution

  • Implementation and adherence to all GSK activities aligned to GSK Vision, GSK Culture, GSK Values and code of conduct

Key Requirements:

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree with relevant science or business background (MBA is a plus)

  • 3-4 years’ of proven leadership track record of success in either or a combination of CVMD focus sales in private market , key account management

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering account and channel marketing strategies

  • Clear and influential communication skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with key stakeholders

  • Demonstrated planning ability and strong organizational and executional skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Creative problem solving and analytical thinking

  • Strong customer orientation

Competencies Required:

  • Disease state & patient journey knowledge (Possess basic knowledge of the causes, progression, and impact of CVMD on patients)

  • Customer insight & advancement

  • Account penetration & stakeholder management

  • Accountability and ownership in creating innovative business plans and solutions

  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability for negotiation and project management skills
