The Global Business Development Lifecycle Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of Mid-Market, Enterprise, and SaaS sales professionals to achieve revenue and growth targets within the region. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction while driving the adoption of Altium's products and solutions.
A day in the life of our Global Business Development Lifecycle Manager:- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market share growth within the Americas region.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales representatives to maximize their potential and achieve sales targets.
- Provide regular performance feedback and implement professional development plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any customer concerns promptly.
- Monitor sales metrics, track performance, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Drive revenue growth through effective pipeline management and closing strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to drive demand generation and customer retention.
- Provide feedback to Product teams on customer needs and market demands.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the software or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of the sales process with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales metrics and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation tools.
- Willingness to travel within the Americas region as needed.
The salary range for this role is $250,000 to $400,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
