Leads regional quality laboratory activities, including raw material, finished product, and new product testing. Conducts process and system audits across vendor factories, monitors quality KPIs, performs root cause analysis, oversees CAPA closure, maintains equipment calibration records, and communicates quality findings to production teams, vendors, and management.

Purpose of the job
- To lead and
manage quality lab activities i.e. raw material testing, finished product
testing & new product evaluations and testing for Agarbatti, Sambrani and Matches.
- To
perform process and system audits across vendor factories to ensure
manufacturing SOP is being followed and improve the quality KPIs through root
cause analysis, CAPA implementation & training and developments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage quality
lab activities with all raw materials, finished goods and new products testing
and reporting the results
- Manage timely calibration
of all instruments/equipment’s in lab and maintain records
- Timely testing
& reporting of raw material/finished goods results to stakeholders
- Perform root cause analysis with appropriate
tools such as fishbone diagram,
histogram, pareto chart etc. to identify root cause for the problems identified
in raw materials/finished goods during testing and process audits
- Perform process
& system audits across vendor factories to ensure factory follows ITC SOP
- Report process
and system audit score & observations to respective vendors and close
follow-up and review of CAPA submitted by vendors for NCs observed in audit
- Daily review and
monitoring of key quality KPIs reported by factories such as, FG DPM, Incoming
raw material test results etc. and timely escalation to the management in case desired
- Keep
a close communication with production team for daily updates on raw
materials/finished goods results
Requirements
- Diploma Graduate in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Chemical domain
- Quality management or Quality related certifications,
preferred
- Problem solving methods
- Knowledge of 5S, 7 QC tools, Process improvement
or other statistical methods
- Communication
& Presentation skills
