Job Overview
We seek a dynamic and strategic Regional Pricing and Data Manager to lead our pricing and data teams. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of accurate, sustainable, and profitable IPMI solutions in Asia and the Middle East, while driving operational efficiency and cross-functional collaboration. You will manage a team responsible for pricing, data integration, automation, reporting, and portfolio analysis, making the technical team our company’s central powerhouse.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Management and Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, setting priorities and ensuring timely task completion.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align activities with business objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, negotiating rates and plan changes as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with insurer requirements and facilitate effective communication between insurers and internal teams.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains to enhance our competitive edge
Pricing and Portfolio Management
- Develop and maintain pricing models, tools, and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy, driving competitive strategies
- Analyse market trends and historical data to inform pricing decisions that win business.
- Collaborate with underwriting, sales, and product teams to create and implement pricing strategies that drive market share
- Oversee complex quotes for tailored solutions, ensuring adherence to turnaround times and high win rates
- Conduct portfolio analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing measures to adjust portfolios for sustainability and profitability
- Monitor portfolio performance and propose proactive solutions to address potential issues, ensuring long-term success
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making
Data Integration and Automation
- Drive data integration, automation, and quality control initiatives to improve data accuracy and accessibility, supporting faster and more accurate decision-making.
- Work closely with the data team leader to gather inputs for effective pricing approaches that drive business growth.
- Support Operations teams with data reporting and data-related projects to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
