The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Regional Payroll Specialist(m/f/x)*, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Managing end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Belgium, Denmark & Norway, in compliance with Belgium, Norway & Denmark payroll regulations

• Importing the salary / tax bank files into the bank

• Calculating salaries, deductions, and taxes accurately, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal requirements

• Proceeding termination or resignation – such as early payment of Annual Incentive Plan or Sales Incentive Plan as part of leaver process, vacation days according to local policy

• Handling time & attendance system, including monthly sickness reporting, parental leave & long-term sickness & sick for reimbursement according to local law

• Responding to employee inquiries & provide guidance on payroll-related issues

• Collaborating with HR & finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations

• Generating payroll reports and maintaining payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Processed payroll for a large employee base, including calculating wages, overtime, and bonuses

• Handled payroll tax filings and ensured compliance with Belgium, Norway & Danish tax laws

• Assisted in resolving payroll discrepancies and reconciling payroll accounts

• Prepared payroll reports for management review and analysis

• Conducted regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data

• Supported HR functions, including onboarding and offboarding processes

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field

• 5 + years in payroll processing

• Proficient in Belgium, Norway & Denmark payroll regulations and laws

• Fluent in English and ability to work with files provided in other languages and translate them and work from the accordingly (such as Danish, Dutch)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills

• Knowledge of payroll software and systems

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Work location: Remote

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
