The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Regional Payroll Senior Analyst (m/f/x)*, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Providing payroll services in accordance with national regulations and labor laws for countries within the EMEA region.
Answering questions from employees and managers regarding compensation, payroll processes, and related topics.
Working with the payroll vendor to report and resolve payroll issues in accordance with established processes and procedures (e.g., submitting tickets to the payroll vendor or the appropriate support organization).
Documenting change request requirements and collaborating closely with the payroll vendor to implement them through to production. Working with management to determine payroll provider priorities, assign responsibilities, and establish timelines to ensure successful delivery.
Collaborating closely with HR teams on all payroll-related tasks.
Staying informed about applicable laws and regulations and ensuring payroll processes are compliant while aligning with global strategy expectations.
Analyzing and resolving employee inquiries related to payroll.
Maintaining high data quality in HR and payroll systems.
Managing payroll-related declarations to relevant administrative authorities.
Identifying and recommending process improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of changes.
Exercising discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality.
Protecting the business by ensuring that internal values and policies are respected and that processes are implemented appropriately.
Managing payroll-related projects based on business needs.
Tasks to be accomplished may include:
Administering other benefit plans related to payroll.
Providing support and resolving issues related to time and absence management.
Managing final payroll settlements (e.g., termination settlements / balances due upon employee departure).
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Payroll, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or equivalent professional experience.
In-depth knowledge of payroll operations, including payroll processing, compensation, personnel administration, and employee relations.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to manage payroll for several countries within established deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role:
Experience or knowledge of payroll legislation in some EMEA countries would be beneficial.
Additional Nordic language skills would be an asset.
Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Knowledge of Workday and other payroll systems, and/or regional experience in payroll projects or HR processes would be a plus.
Experience in payroll vendor management would be an asset.
Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
