The incumbent applies advanced knowledge of insurance brokerage operations and collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and consistency across the region.
Primary Responsibilities- Monitor and manage day-to-day operational activities for Employee Benefits within the region, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance accuracy, productivity, and client experience.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards; assist in risk mitigation efforts.
- Support optimization of agency management systems and other operational tools; provide feedback for enhancements.
- Track KPIs and prepare reports on operational performance for regional leadership; recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Partner with account management teams, regional leaders, and national operations to align initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to regional staff on operational policies, procedures, and system usage.
- Assist in regional integration efforts during mergers, acquisitions, or organizational changes.
- Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify operational trends.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agency management platforms.
- Ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred.
- 4–6 years in insurance brokerage operations, with demonstrated expertise in Employee Benefits workflows.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits processes, compliance requirements, and agency management systems.
The starting pay is $165,000. Salary is negotiable upon time of hire.
