As an MDS Clinical Process Analyst at Southern, you will be a part of a large-scale healthcare operations organization that provides management and oversight of 42 Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation centers across FL, NC and GA. You will utilize your expertise in the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM), Quality Measures (QM’s), and Medicaid Case Mix and Medicare guidelines to your region of assignment in the State of Florida. You will be making site visits to implement programs, educate staff and ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines. You will serve as a liaison between the local center, regional leadership and the VP of Rehabilitation Services and Case Mix to ensure strategies and plans that enhance and promote departmental goals are developed and implemented, with a primary goal of promoting proper clinical reimbursement for services rendered through the MDS process and ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines regarding RAI process.
Due to the proximity of the centers this role will support, the ideal candidate will reside in the Raleigh/Durham area with flexibility to travel and visit centers as needed is required. QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's Degree or above in Nursing (ASN) required.
- Five (5+) years licensed RN experience required.
- Three (3+) years MDS experience in a long-term care / rehabilitation setting required.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of documentation, reimbursement, PDPM, and RAI guidelines in Long-Term Care as directed by State and Federal regulations.
- Prior experience managing, supporting and/or consulting for a cluster of regional facilities or in a decentralized, multi-site organization, strongly preferred
- Active, unrestricted driver's license required with personal transportation.
