Function: Marketing FOODS CARICAM

Reports to: Director Foods Caricam 

Scope: CARICAM

Location: El Salvador, República Dominicana.

Terms & Conditions: Full time

JOB PURPOSE

This role is responsible for leading the development of innovation and savings projects within the Foods category. It directly manages one report and heads the Innovation team, working closely with the cross-functional Triad (R&D, CMI, and Marketing) to ensure that all initiatives are consumer-centric, executable, and aligned with business priorities. The role operates under an Agile working model, fostering speed, collaboration, and adaptability across project delivery

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the end-to-end development of innovation and savings projects within the Foods category, ensuring alignment with consumer needs and business strategy.

  • Manage and coach a direct report, fostering a high-performance and purpose-driven culture within the Innovation team.

  • Collaborate closely with the Triad (R&D, CMI, and Marketing) to co-create solutions that are both consumer-relevant and operationally feasible.

  • Drive Agile ways of working across project teams to accelerate delivery, enhance adaptability, and improve cross-functional collaboration.

  • Ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and execution.

  • Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and internal performance metrics to identify opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.

  • Act as a key interface between global and local teams to ensure strategic alignment and knowledge sharing

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in innovation, brand development, or project management within the FMCG industry.

  • Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects with agility and impact.

  • Strong understanding of consumer insights, product development processes, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Experience working in Agile environments or with Agile methodologies is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

  • Financial understanding.

  • Fluent in English
