The Regional Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating the operations of multiple locations within their designated region. The Regional Manager will primarily be focused on:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to location managers and operational teams within the region.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, procedures, and standards across all locations. Ensure company safety standards are implemented and followed.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and safety of the fuel transport fleet.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams such as dispatch, maintenance, and sales to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Monitor and assess performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
  • Develop and manage regional budgets, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures. Monitor financial performance.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor location managers and staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated work environment.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring customer feedback and addressing concerns. Maintain satisfaction through on-time deliveries and effective communication.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer service and experience across locations.
  • Ensure that all locations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee quality control and compliance initiatives to maintain high standards.
  • Oversee supply chain operations to meet demand.
  • Communicate regularly with location managers and company leadership.
  • Explore opportunities for business expansion and growth within the region.
  • Develop and execute regional growth strategies in coordination with corporate goals.
Qualifications
  • Five years of experience in fuel transport operations, including experience in a regional or multi-location capacity.  Experience in logistics, supply chain or transportation preferred.
  • Class A CDL with required endorsements or the ability to obtain your CDL.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using performance metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to travel within the region as needed.

Skills Required

  • Five years of experience in fuel transport operations, including regional or multi-location capacity
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain or transportation
  • Class A CDL with required endorsements or ability to obtain CDL
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and using performance metrics to drive decision-making
