About You

As the Regional Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial management and sales support of regional customers in Spain, aiming to optimize and grow each category in a sustainable way, developing Kimberly-Clark’s business in the Iberia region.

You will report to the Traditional Sales Leader Iberia and will be an individual contributor (no direct reports).

Location: we can offer a hybrid model (on remote / Madrid Office) for candidates already based in Spain. This role will require to travel part time in Spain.

YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Execute country Commercial policy and marketing strategy.

  • Reach sales targets for each client managing the execution of customers plans and identify and pursue category growth opportunities, within customers.

  • Compile customers plans based on identified objectives for each category, actively involving key functions such as marketing, finance, supply chain.

  • Conduct negotiations with customers involving other functions when necessary (Finance, Customer Service, Pricing and Logistics)

  • Monitor execution by customer of reached agreements (number of SKU's listed, distributions, promotions, activities, etc.)

  • Monitor competition activities/actions, suggest counteracting measures, obtain approvals, and implement.

  • Coordinate turnover and payment process between Customer and Supplier.

  • Analysis, management of price differences, rebates, commercial documentation.

  • Monitor product ordering process to always ensure shelf stock availability, take proactive measures in case risk of OOS appears.

  • Open new customer relationships operated currently through distributors.

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Focusing on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • Previous commercial experience in FMCG and/or Retail

  • Excellent commercial skills and solid understanding of sales, finance KPI's (Volume, Gross Sales, Net Sales, Gross Margin, Gross Profit, etc.). P&L knowledge is a must.

  • Ability to promote and implement changes based on business decisions impacting sales results.

  • High level of initiative, planning, organization, analytics, focus; strong teamwork capabilities (support, collaboration, influence); Negotiation, make decisions.

  • Strategy Thinking and strong negotiation skills

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
