Regional IT Coordinator

Lead and manage the Regional Sites Support IT organization and represent Azelis IT within the Region, whilst providing an effective and cost-efficient IT services to the Regional User Communities, in-line with Group IT Services Portfolio, Standards and Policies. Acting as the IT Advisor for the Managing Director and be the IT representative for the country at Group IT level.

• Manage an effective and cost efficient, business oriented and user focused IT support service for the Region, in compliance with Group IT Services Portfolio, Standards and Policies

  • Manage regional IT organization as service orientated organization

  • Manage the execution of the yearly Regional IT Budget as part of the Group IT Budget

  • Operational execution of On-Site Support Services in accordance with published Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

• Identify, justify and implement opportunities for value creation through the use of Information & Communication Technology.

• Contribute to the formulation of the Azelis IT Strategy at EMEA level; Implement and execute the Azelis IT Strategy in the region

• Support the locally implemented Corporate Competency Center(s) within the region and/or share resources with one or more Corporate Competency Center(s). Support (mobile) Azelis IT users while traveling within the region

• Manage all ICT hardware (including fixed and mobile phones), for the region, in compliance with Group IT policies.

• Manage the ICT aspects of the region’s business continuity planning.

• Champion new ICT methods and technologies. Lead and coordinate regional implementation of IT projects

Responsibilities / Tasks

• Implement and execute the Azelis IT Strategy in the country

• Manage site specific IT operations (e.g. endpoint procurement and provisioning, operations of site equipment such as printers, meeting rooms) as a service orientated organization

• Operational execution of On-Site Support Services in accordance with published Service Level Agreements (SLAs);

• Lead and coordinate country implementation of IT projects;

• Support (mobile) Azelis IT users while traveling

• Organizational structuring

• Ensure coverage and support services continuity across sites within the country

Required Skills / Competencies

• Advanced level of English, speaking and writing

• Broad and in depth knowledge about common, cloud IT platforms and solutions, focused on end-user experience (End-user Configurations & Office Productivity solutions, Network Services, Identity systems, Email systems, File Storage solutions, Printing solutions)

• Good service management skills and understanding of support service process models, workflows and tools (helpdesk, ticketing, remote user assistance)

• Excellent problem analysis and problem-solving skills

• The ability to advise on economical aspects and the design of IT solutions; the ability to facilitate the implementation of changes in the IT environment

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to work independently, setting of priorities and efficiently meeting explicit and implicit deadlines

• Detail-oriented and thorough team player with strong work ethic

• Customer service orientation, self-motivated; result-oriented

• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management, including ExCom

• Dependable and flexible; adaptable to fast changing circumstances
