We are currently seeking a Regional HR Generalist in Tampa, FL. The Regional HR Generalist is responsible for providing regional support to corporate Human Resources by assisting with day-to-day operations of HR.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of new hire paperwork for submission to corporate. Ensure project admins are verifying documentation for submittal & verification in E-Verify.
- Initial training of project administrators in handling employee new hire paperwork, payroll preparation and submission, insurance applications, and CDL driver requirements. Be available to help all with any questions they have regarding employee paperwork and assist in completion.
- Coordinate the submission of the weekly payroll. Ensure that all projects have turned in the time for the week and submitted. Inform corporate payroll of the submission with details of hours submitted.
- Train CDL drivers in the paperwork requirements by traveling to jobsites to provide training classes. Coordinate with all jobsites to ensure compliance and submittal of documents.
- Participate and help coordinate the annual admin training class. Help prepare the agenda for the training class and coordinate the event for all admins.
- Collect mileage for all regional vehicles and maintain the regional equipment module. Ensure that all registrations/tags for regional vehicles are current & updated as necessary.
- Be available to all regional employees to answer questions regarding payroll and insurance. Direct employee to correct department for garnishment or 401(k) questions.
- Coordinate with the regional recruiter for annual recruiting fairs at colleges and career fairs. Prepare & deliver supplies for the event and attend when necessary.
- Assist regional employees with travel arrangements in Concur; help find available hotels in all areas where we do business.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma
- Microsoft Office experience
- Experience with in-house programs such as PCTime, CMiC, Apextender
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules
- Confidentiality
- Able to sit and use a computer for long periods of time, often using phone at same time
- Ability to transport up to 20 pounds
- Travel to all jobsites regularly (at least twice a year), and to Chicago for HR meetings as necessary
