AlertMedia is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to join our growing People team as we expand into Mexico! Our People team provides a world-class HR experience from the candidate interview stage to the new hire orientation and throughout their career at AlertMedia. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner with business leaders to develop and execute Human Resources priorities that enable business goals and enhance the employee experience while managing a team of HR professionals. You will collaborate with professionals in the HR, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development teams to deliver on People initiatives across AlertMedia. We are looking for an experienced professional who will not only partner with business leaders, but also identify and drive appropriate solutions that are aligned with our overall culture and values.

What you get to do every day:

  • Partner with both US and Mexico leadership teams to develop and deliver on department talent strategies needed to support our tremendous growth
  • Attract and recruit top talent in the Mexico City area, in partnership with our talent acquisition and hiring leaders, while building systemic and scalable recruiting strategies in region to create a sustainable pipeline of talent and establish an employer brand
  • Build and manage the Mexico City employee experience including cultivating culture in region that aligns with our global AlertMedia values and organizational culture and managing the day-to-day in office experience.
  • Function as an HR Business partner and trusted advisor to key leaders and their respective organizations in support of all facets of the employee life cycle
  • Partner with employees and business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, and skills assessment and development
  • Review and analyze business and people metrics to identify trends, recommend solutions, and drive improvements related to performance, retention, and employee experience
  • Work with managers and employees to investigate and properly address various employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Act as a trusted and helpful HR resource for employees, with a high level of discretion 
  • Partner with the people team to build and executive company-wide employee programs and initiatives

What you bring to the role:

  • 8+ years of HR experience, preferably with US-based companies in Mexico
  • Experience building and working in a fast-paced, rapid growth organization, preferably in a SaaS organization
  • Strong knowledge of Mexican employment laws and regulations
  • Broad experience and deeps knowledge of various aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, employee development, and performance management
  • Knowledge of the talent landscape in Mexico to attract, hire, and retain top talent
  • Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem solving
  • Strong judgment and experience coaching senior leaders
  • Self-starter and team player, willing to jump in on all projects as needed
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills, with a commitment to providing outstanding support to all employees  
  • This is a hybrid role (2-3 days in office) based in Mexico City. You must be located in surrounding area that is commutable or willing to relocate

Hybrid Workspace

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.

Our hybrid policy provides flexibility so employees can work and collaborate from home or in our Austin offices, either full- or part-time. We ask employees in Austin to join us on Tuesday for company-sponsored lunch to connect and learn together.
