We are looking for experienced and talented professional who will be instrumental to improve profitability and performance of the Region - Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia and Montenegro, and to further develop strong Finance team at the same time making sure that we strengthen our finance and collection capabilities.
This role offers great opportunity to further develop the business skills and knowledge, project management and leadership skills in the local markets leader in the industry.
The Regional Finance Manager will be responsible for finance agenda in the following countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with local management to strategically develop the company at the same time ensuring healthy financials driven by improved balance sheet metrics and proper cash flow development

Support and develop current Finance team
-
Be single point of contact for all finance related matters in the management team

Work closely with Business controller on ensuring proper profitability reporting, forecasting and cost controlling as well as performance management

Supervise all scope of finance control related process (e.g. ledger accounting, taxes, statutory and financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable) and support Finance Controlling team on adequate tax disclosures and mitigate current tax risks, completion of financial audits for periods in scope

Enable credit controlling team to execute and improve collection process and capabilities

Review processes that ensure proper disclosure of financial transactions and remediate or set-up proper processes

Control and improve the quality of work provided by external companies (outsourced or offshored processes)

Lead cooperation with matrix counterparties: regional and head office teams (Global Tax, Global Treasury, Corporate Controlling, etc)

Execute treasury and external financial counterparties (e.g. banks) related process

Lead or be a member of change projects (e.g. new systems, operating model changes, processes improvements)

Support local Procurement Team
REQUIREMENTS:

Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Ability to operate in fast changing and matrix environment in which several processes needs to be redesigned

Minimum 6 years of experience as a finance or business controller and at least 10 years of experience in people management positions

Relevant education, CIMA / ACCA or other equivalent qualification is an asset

Projects related experience

Very good technical skills (e.g. proficiency in MS Excel, experience with SAP or equivalent systems, fluency in data warehouse related tools)

Good knowledge of Tax regulations and Accounting standards

Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g. LEAN Six Sigma)

Very good knowledge of English
