Rebates Controller

Role Overview: 

  • Oversee the complete rebate process, both locally and internationally. 
  • Provide support to the business in managing rebate agreements, including the maintenance of a comprehensive tracker sheet for all existing customers. Conduct regular reviews to ensure accuracy and update accrual levels on a monthly basis. 
  • Ensure proper documentation of rebate agreements for audit purposes. 
  • Calculate rebate values for customers and meticulously review calculations for accuracy. Collaborate closely with sales teams and customers during this process. 
  • Generate monthly reports for various countries and facilitate clear communication between sales and finance teams regarding rebate matters. 
  • Manage the rebate process within SAP, overseeing rebate agreements from inception to closure. 
  • Maintain appropriate manual accrual levels for indirect customers and consistently seek opportunities to enhance the rebate process. 
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify opportunities for simplification and efficiency improvements. 
  • Regularly review and clean up existing rebate agreements. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business or equivalent qualification. 
  • Professional qualification in finance or accounting. 
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a finance role. 
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is advantageous.
