About the Role: 

The Regional Education Manager is responsible for strategically planning and executing professional education across all field channels. This person communicates the OLAPLEX message to distribution partner teams (DSCs and Educators) and to stylists in independent and chain salons, schools, and professional beauty outlets. You will collaborate closely with Field Sales Managers to coordinate educational activities that support distributor business goals, while maintaining strong existing relationships, fostering new partnerships, and opening new doors through education. Serving as a critical link between OLAPLEX and our professional customers, this role builds community through best-in-class training. To succeed, you must possess thorough knowledge of OLAPLEX products and services, with the ability to develop educational resources that drive salon success and support overall channel sales goals.

This role reports to the National Field Education Manager, and works closely with the education management team, the other Regional Education Managers throughout North America and the entire field sales team. 

  • Champion the OLAPLEX philosophy of bond-building science through impactful and inspiring education
  • Implement regional education strategies that grow brand awareness, sales, and stylist loyalty
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of Regional Educators to deliver consistent, high-quality education
  • Facilitate engaging technical and business-building education for salons, distributor partners, and store employees
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to successfully launch new products, promotions, and initiatives
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of all educational programs, events, and activations
  • Foster and strengthen relationships with salons, distributor sales consultants, and key accounts to support retention and growth
  • Represent OLAPLEX at distributor shows, regional events, and industry gatherings
  • Deliver education in both live and virtual formats, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and enthusiasm
  • Monitor regional performance and collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve education and sales goals
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the technical curriculum to set a standard of excellence, effectively communicating this expertise to OLAPLEX contract educators and students in the field
  • Plan, develop, and execute regional cluster classes for distributor partners throughout your region 
About You:  
  • Licensed cosmetologist with a strong background in cutting, color and styling of all hair types
  • 8+ years of haircare education experience 
  • Highly motivated, organized, and a creative problem solver, capable of managing complex travel schedules and maximizing time in key field markets 
  • Strong multi-tasker with the ability to balance administrative goals, budget tracking (Google Sheets), and cross-functional partnerships
  • Exceptional presentation skills with experience facilitating engaging in-person and virtual programs for diverse audiences 
  • Inspirational leader dedicated to fostering collaborative relationships with salon partners, distributors, and internal teams, especially field sales managers in your territory 
  • Must be located near a major airport with direct travel to the East Coast 
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% consistently, including weekends 
  • Experience managing shows and events, such as trade shows or regional education events, is preferred but not required 
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with distribution partners (independent distributors, national partners like SalonCentric and BSG as well as large chains) to align on education strategies and drive brand success 
  • Proven ability to track and report measurable goals of success with a strong understanding of strategic goal setting to support overall department key priority initiatives 
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Slack, and SharePoint 
  • While not required, being fluent in Spanish is a plus.

Our Total Rewards: 

The annual base pay for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, years of relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates or other professional licenses held and geographic location.
