Purpose
Accelerate growth of our ecommerce, retail media and performance products/services within our key clients and new business prospects. They will further developing our relationships with our eRetail partners as well as elevate and standardize our product offering. They will evangelize ecommerce market trends and our media buying and strategic consulting offerings. This person will also build bridges with sister agencies, UM or Initiative, and their clients to sell in Ecommerce services. He or she will proactively grow our capabilities and integrate them across existing teams, driving innovation and efficiency.
The Manager must be a leader, a builder, a spokesperson, and a showman. The Manager will be an expert in e-retail media, sales and strategy, able to build strategies and justify recommendations across both branding and performance buys. The ideal candidate is extremely familiar with the Ecommerce tools, products, and capabilities but also understand eRetail partners in Latin America such as Amazon, Walmart, Mercado Libre, Rappi, Cornershop and others.
Job Responsibilities
- Create and drive ecommerce strategies for our clients, delivering best in class results across eRetail Media, Search, Display, DSP, OTT, and other products
- Lead client pitches and collaborate with client teams to develop strategies focused on media, analytics, content, and planning for ecommerce clients
- Partner with client leadership to drive growth and build solutions to their ecommerce needs, including launching new products or developing a digital planogram.
- Develop and present strategic responses, as well as unique approaches and analytics
- Drive thought leadership and practice visibility internally and externally by helping publish thought leadership and white papers
- Create and implement a scope of work that meets client needs and a framework to measure success
Operational Expectations
- Consult with clients on solving their challenges within the Ecommerce channel and create solutions
- Create collateral around e-commerce product offering, simplifying the choice for clients
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate staffing needs to make recommendations for improving efficiency
- Be a face of Ecommerce for the agency
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience working within Ecommerce at an agency, or leading Ecommerce media buying or Ecommerce efforts at a brand
- 7-10 years of experience working in digital marketing, technology, retail or similar field preferred.
- Deep understanding of selling through e-retailers and marketplaces
- Worked with direct clients – both marketers and sales/trade teams - in addition to agency clients
- Strong data and partnerships background; experience crafting or negotiating ecommerce JBPs preferred.
- A solution-oriented mindset and an eagerness to handle ambiguity and help define team processes
- Comfortable analyzing dashboards and utilizing spreadsheets with mastery of excel formulas and pivot tables to extract and clearly communicate insights
- Excellent public speaker, able to explain complicated concepts in simple ways
- Passion to rapidly build expertise on new business and industry verticals
- Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
- Experience with more than one Latin American country preferred.
- Must speak/write English and Spanish. Portuguese a big plus.
