Role:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Regional Director of Marketing, based in our Bangkok Corporate Office. The Director of Marketing, APAC oversees regional marketing strategy and execution across a defined portfolio of Aman properties. The role is responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing plans that drive brand awareness, engagement, and commercial performance within the region while ensuring consistency with Aman’s global brand standards.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing with a dotted line to the Managing Director, APAC, the role will work closely with on-property Marcomms team in delivering property and area-level campaigns, content initiatives, and commercial activations. The role has omni-channel marketing responsibility and requires knowledge of performance marketing channels as well as content marketing and communications. The individual will partner closely with the global Marketing, PR, and Digital teams to ensure local initiatives complement global priorities, translating Aman’s brand vision into regionally relevant storytelling and guest engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and execution of marketing strategies for properties within the assigned region, ensuring initiatives align with Aman’s global marketing frameworks and commercial objectives
  • Translate global marketing campaigns and priorities into regional execution plans, tailoring activities to reflect local market opportunities and customer insights
  • Lead regional campaign planning and delivery, ensuring all content, creative, and messaging reflect Aman’s luxury brand positioning and narrative standards
  • Collaborate with the Global Marketing and Brand & Creative teams on the execution of approved campaign materials, photo and video shoots, and other brand assets required for regional deployment
  • Work collaboratively with global and property Sales, Revenue, and E-Commerce teams to ensure marketing strategies and content directly support revenue, occupancy, and conversion goals
  • Work closely external brand agencies across Digital Marketing and PR  to help drive commercial performance and awareness of our resorts
  • Coordinate with global Marketing and PR teams to ensure regional press, partnerships, and brand activations are consistent with global narratives
  • Monitor regional marketing performance across digital, CRM, and offline channels, ensuring activity drives engagement and conversion
  • Analyse campaign effectiveness and ROI, presenting insights and recommendations to the on-property teams, GMs and Vice President of Marketing
  • Lead, mentor, and develop regional and property-based marketing professionals, fostering collaboration and high performance across teams
  • Set clear objectives and expectations for the regional marketing team, ensuring accountability to brand and commercial goals

Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in marketing leadership within luxury hospitality, travel, or lifestyle sectors, including regional or multi-property oversight
  • Proven success developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive engagement and revenue performance
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, campaign planning, and performance analytics
  • Experience collaborating with brand, creative, and digital teams to deliver large-scale marketing initiatives
  • Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills
  • Strong visual aesthetic aligned with brand standards, copywriting and content development skills, photography and video direction capabilities Proven ability to translate global strategies into regionally relevant marketing programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field; master’s degree preferred
