WHAT WE’LL NEED

The Regional Design Coordinator is responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of restaurant design and brand standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and design project management and a proven track record to ensure successful completion of key business objectives, schedules, and priorities. Will work directly with multiple other functions inside and outside of the development team, including construction; real-estate; operations; marketing; architects and engineers. 

•    Responsible for tracking, monitoring, and driving the new store design process from site approval through permitting.
•    Manage deadlines and progress across the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget
•    Interface with brand partners to analyze design aspects of potential markets, trade areas and sites.   
•    Manage the store design process with brand partners, construction manager, architect and engineers in designated geographical region.
•    Communicate and clarify brand standards regarding image, design and equipment to architects, brand partners, developers and other external parties.
•    Interface of schematic store design and layout with brand partners.
•    Manage and coordinate vendor engagement within the project to ensure responsibilities are met within the approved timeline, scope and design - including architects, kitchen vendors, and FF&E providers.
•    Review construction documents for WRI prototypical standards.
•    Ensure permit documents contain all MEP design standards to construct restaurant in a cost- effective manner. – VALUE ENGINEER
•    Track building permit submittal and permit process.

•    Identifies and introduces new ideas and solutions to create efficiency in the operation. 
•    Always represents the brand and department in a professional and polished manner.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
•    5+ years of progressive responsibility and success within project management.
•    Knowledge of the architecture & construction process required, ability to read a full set of construction documents inclusive of MEP+S.
•    Restaurant design and kitchen layout experience required.
•    Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
•    Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
•    Guest service mentality has a genuine desire to serve the customer.
•    Maintains a calm, tactful demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
•    Manages multiple projects and timelines with a sense of urgency and follow through.
