Mission of the Role (What you will be doing):
As an integral team member, you will lead our continuous improvement initiatives and embed lean principles across our operations. In this role, you will drive process optimization, eliminate waste, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate possesses excellent problem-solving skills and has a proven track record in implementing lean methodologies to achieve measurable results.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Implement and sustain lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices across multiple facilities
- Serve as the primary CI leader for Tualatin, OR and Mukilteo, WA, with support to additional Oregon locations as needed
- Partner with plant managers and operations leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute improvement initiatives
- Train and coach employees, supervisors, and managers on lean principles and tools
- Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops across sites
- Apply methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and Six Sigma
- Standardize processes to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance
- Analyze KPIs and operational data to measure impact and ROI of initiatives
- Collaborate with safety, quality, and operations teams to ensure alignment with company standards
- Present progress updates, results, and recommendations to regional and senior leadership
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience
- Lean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) strongly preferred
Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence roles
- Demonstrated success implementing measurable improvements in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Strong knowledge of lean tools including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Kanban, and Six Sigma
- Proven ability to influence and engage teams at all organizational levels
- Experience leading cross-functional improvement initiatives and Kaizen events
- Strong analytical, facilitation, and project management skills
- Proficiency with process mapping or visualization tools such as Visio is a plus
- Familiarity with Amtech software is a plus
- Experience in packaging, corrugated, or similar manufacturing environments preferred
The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, qualifications, experience, responsibilities, and relevant education and training.
