This position works out of our Wiesbaden site, Abbott GmbH in the Abbott Molecular Diagnostics division.
- Drive, consult and support discussions around plan scenarios, capture and challenge core assumptions, analyze market share trends, optimize structure expense and build blue plans, outlining incremental opportunities
- Collect and report rationale for variances and deviations to target. Provide rationale and insight to specific risks and opportunities
- Drive commercial strategy within the region by monitoring the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essentials to the sales organization as well as providing KPI’s for bonus calculation
- Integrated Business Planning (IBP): Support IBP process/reviews monthly, assist with data analysis and ensure follow-up on information. Ensure compliance to Division requirements for IBP and improving trends of all IBP metrics. Assist with detailed analysis of problematic areas with sustainable improvement ideas
- Continuously review focus country portfolio and go-to market strategies
- Sales Force Effectiveness: Analysis of sales information on a monthly basis to assist Managing Director and Country Managers to determine that time spent is on the right accounts, with the right contacts and with the right frequency. Assist in determining key KPI’s to make the information easy to understand and follow but identify issues or concerns quickly
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business
- At least 5 years of business experience in similar roles or finance
- Experience in driving business performance management processes
- Very good knowledge and experience in Excel and Data Analytics
- Team oriented, analytical and highly organized
- Results driven - confident, thrives on hard work and consistent challenges. Monitors quantitative progress measures and acts quickly on deviations from plan
- Must have demonstrated ability to operate within a cross-functional team
- Highly organized with strong communication and influencing skills
- Excellent English Language Skills, another language is a plus
