Job Summary

ZOLL Itamar is seeking a Benelux Clinical Support Specialist to play a pivotal role in positioning WatchPAT as a first-line sleep diagnostics solution across the Benelux region. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging and educating the clinical community, supporting physicians in the clinical implementation of the technology, and driving market development in both established and emerging sleep markets.

We are looking for an independent, proactive professional who can further strengthen the Dutch sleep market while leading growth and change in Belgium. You will recruit and collaborate with key opinion leaders (KOLs), provide high-level clinical education, and deliver ongoing technical and clinical support to customers and prospects. Success in this role will be defined by your impact on the clinical community, the integration of WatchPAT into local clinical practice and regulations, and the resulting growth in market share.

This position requires strong clinical expertise (preferably in signal analysis), combined with commercial awareness and excellent interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the EMEA Area Business Director, Country Manager, business partners, and internal technical and clinical support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical and technical training to physicians and clinical staff

  • Support customers with clinical and technical inquiries

  • Educate prospects and customers on ZOLL Itamar technology and its clinical benefits

  • Conduct regular on-site visits to support and educate customer teams

  • Recruit, engage, and manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs)

  • Represent the company at conferences and professional events within the region and internationally

  • Assuming overall responsibility for the territory and reporting back regularly on progress.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Science, or a related field (preferred)

  • 2–5 years of experience in sleep medicine, e.g. as a sleep technician or respiratory physiologist (preferred)

  • Residence in Belgium or the Netherlands

  • Experience in clinical training or mentoring is a strong advantage

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong presentation and communication skills

  • Willingness to travel extensively within Benelux (approximately 75%) and occasionally internationally (company car provided)

  • High level of self-motivation, discipline, and ability to manage an independent schedule

Languages

  • Dutch/Flemish – Native

  • French – Advanced

  • English – Advanced

Travel

  • 75% Travel within Benelux and on occassion internationally.

Skills Required

  • At least three years' experience in sleep medicine (Sleep Technician / Respiratory Physiologist)
  • Strong clinical expertise
  • Residence in The Netherlands
  • Dutch mother tongue and good level of English
  • Ability to deliver presentations
  • Readiness to travel frequently within the EU (travel may be up to 60%)
  • Self-discipline and ability to manage own schedule
