Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Reviews Requests for Change and verifies completeness and identifies deficiencies and inconsistencies
- Assists in preparation of Change Advisory Board meetings and recording of results
- Assists in preparation of PIR meetings and recording of results
- Acts as liaison to internal and external auditors in compliance reviews
- Reviews Change Requests and accompanying documents for completeness and compliance to policy
- Identifies out of compliance items and refers to proper person for remediation
- Collaborates with Change Coordinators to remediate issues
- Provides training on change policies, standards and tools in informal and formal settings
- Ensures completeness and accuracy of all documentation for assigned work products
- Adheres to policies, procedures and standards
- May evaluate business efficiencies and risks to make recommendations on application of change standards
- Monitors and analyzes internal change process metrics for continuous improvement.
- Provides coaching and guidance to team members, as well as leadership and oversight to team members in their region
- Participates in individual or group product feasibility studies to evaluate solvency of product(s), defines acceptance criteria, report findings and participates in implementation decisions
- Facilitates CAB meetings and communicates status, decisions and outcomes from the meeting, and complete metrics
- Documents and distributes agenda and meeting minutes, and other communications as needed
Education:
- Bachelor Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of IT and business experience, with at least 2 years' experience with change management processes
- Knowledge and/or experience with the ITIL processes and concepts of testing regulatory compliance and change management.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Demonstrated experience documenting change management policies and standards
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, relevant technology, tools and software; SDLC, Desktop services, ITSM, Test tools, or equivalent testing tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize workload and consistently meet deadlines
