The Role:

Market Intelligence Account Managers facilitate, coordinate, and aid strategic, sales and product activity with our key regional customer accounts. In this role, you are spearheading the commercial efforts and marshalling to grow strategic relationships and the overall book of business with our key clients in Africa.

You are able to build high-functioning teams and collaborate across business unit at all levels of the organization. Working with customers at the most senior levels to identify opportunities and translate them into a client segment strategy, often combining various solutions and data sets to meet requirements. You will be responsible for identifying the addressable universe for client segments and delivering GTM strategy in collaboration with the broader sales and product organization.

The Team:

You will operate in partnership with the Head of Account Management for the Middle East, Africa and India that will cover all of our strategic clients. Account Management has a strategic role at Market Intelligence and operates with an entrepreneurial spirit. Responsibilities:

  • Build a regional team of high performers focused on the Africa continent for all client segments

  • Identify and map the coverage universe for the team

  • Work closely with our sales and business leaders to create a client segment strategy

  • Monitor and evaluate key customer strategies, business trends and operational priorities

  • Provide transparent financial and operational assessment of the health of our customer relationships

  • Establish relationships and connectivity with senior level executives of these organizations

  • Accountable to each other to collaborate for the benefit of their sales and business partners to drive the commercial success of the division

  • Develop industry specific knowledge drive thought leadership across the sales and marketing organization

  • Engage in team selling to all accounts in conjunction with sales specialists

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for an individual with ability to build and spearhead a dedicated and experienced professionals with shown success selling into complex spaces with complex products. A thorough understanding of this segment and our current capabilities are key to this role.

Minimum and Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Must be able to see and clearly communicate the company vision and the revenue strategy across all relevant functions and ensure the right goals are defined and met

  • Proven track record building high performing teams, leading successful transformations

  • Proven experience in managing large complex teams and ability to effectively work in a large organization

  • Diversified leadership experiences driving and implementing growth initiatives and experience in leading transformation

  • Strong communication, organization, presentation and negotiation skills

  • Relevant industry experience and a consistent record in building high performing teams

  • Confidence in navigating and building relationships with C-Level executives

  • Well-balanced strategic and operational mindset. Strong discipline around long-term planning as well as near-term pipeline tools and reporting

  • Ability to make difficult decisions and set priorities based on imperfect information

  • Demonstrated advanced analytical skills and ability to deliver action-based reporting
