Location: Hybrid
Shift: Mon-Fri 8am- 5pm
Answers the telephone in a professional and polite manner, communicating information to appropriate personnel.
Notifies patients, physicians, and support staff of changes impacting the schedule.
Updates information in the EMR as necessary. Interacts professionally with physicians, patients/families, and healthcare staff.
Maintains a good working relationship within the clinic and with hospital departments. Other duties as assigned.
Responds to voicemail messages promptly. Responds to all referrals within one to two business days.
Obtains and enters EMR demographic and medical records/tests/scans/results necessary for the first office visit.
Collaborates with navigators, schedulers, physicians, and office staff.
Ensures verification of benefits has been obtained and clearly documented in EMR.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Professional, oral, and written communication skills in English [Required]
