Technical engineer intern for Reentry Vehicle/Reentry Systems for MM III ICBM
We are looking for Juniors and Seniors with 6 months - 1.5 years left in their major programs.
This position is part-time and gives the student worker a chance to work directly in their major field to support the defense of the United States.
Many of the successful employees in this program are hired afterwards to be regular members of the team.
Provide technical, clerical, and low- level engineering to BAE Systems Air Force Strategic Programs Directorate.
Under direction of full-time engineering staff, the successful candidate will:
- Perform research and report results on control drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
- Support systems engineering and integration efforts for specialty engineering disciplines, e.g., corrosion, environmental, safety, configuration management, surety, EMI, and others.
- Participate in sustainment engineering activities.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Must be currently enrolled in an ABET accredited engineering program (Electrical preferred). Will also consider other engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics, or Math with 6 months -1.5 years left in their program.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $46437 - $62721
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
