💡 About the roleDarkroom is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recruiting Manager to lead our talent acquisition team and strategy. You will be the crucial link between our senior leadership and the execution of our hiring plan, ensuring we attract and hire top talent efficiently and effectively to support Darkroom’s ambitious growth goals.
🎯 What You'll Be DoingTeam Leadership & Coordination: Coordinate the daily activities, priorities, and resources of the recruiting team (including Senior Recruiters, Recruiters, and Coordinators) to ensure alignment with company objectives and hiring targets.
Strategic Partnership (SPOC): Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Darkroom's senior leadership, providing regular updates, strategic insights, and recommendations on hiring status, market conditions, and talent pipeline health.
Hiring Plan Execution: Own the delivery of the overall hiring plan. Proactively ensure all open positions are filled in the right time, managing requisition load and balancing team efforts across various departments (e.g., Engineering, Product, G&A, Sales).
Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine our end-to-end recruitment processes, tools, and systems to maximize efficiency, candidate experience, and hiring quality.
Data & Reporting: Develop and present key recruiting metrics, reports, and dashboards to senior leadership, leveraging data to drive decision-making and forecast hiring needs.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies, sourcing partners, and vendors as needed.
Recruiter Development: Mentor, coach, and develop the recruiting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, high performance, and deep business acumen.
Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruiting, with at least 2 years of experience managing, leading, or mentoring a team of recruiters.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a high-performing recruiting team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and articulate hiring strategy and data to executive-level stakeholders.
Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated experience in translating business objectives into tactical recruiting strategies and operational plans.
Process Acumen: Deep understanding of full-cycle recruiting, best practices, and the ability to implement effective sourcing, interviewing, and closing strategies.
System Knowledge: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever) and experience using data visualization/reporting tools.
Compliance: Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations related to hiring.
