We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Management Specialist to oversee and support recruiting for our Facilities Planning and Engineering team. The Recruiting Management Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and efficient interview process for candidates and hiring managers. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for providing a positive candidate experience.
Job Description:
- Coordinate all recruiting needs among technical team members and hiring managers
- Lead weekly recruiting status update meeting
- Oversee recruiting sourcing activities and monitor sourcing trends
- Communicate effectively with third-party stakeholders, including external recruiting firms and ERG’s technical clients
- Manage and maintain the list of all open requisitions and understand both the intricacies and overlap among opportunities
- Meet with technical team members to understand new recruiting needs and draft job postings for review and approval by hiring managers
- Identify personnel that can properly review and assess candidate qualifications
- Design interview schedules that are appropriate to the level of desired qualifications
- Ensure recruiting team moves candidates through the pipeline in the applicant tracking system
- Ensure the recruiting team is aware of high-priority ads, understands the desired candidate qualifications for those ads, and effectively source new candidates
- Assist with coordination of start dates and other onboarding tasks
- Provide ideas for process improvement opportunities
- Efficiently handle last-minute scheduling changes
- Provide a positive and welcoming experience for candidates throughout the interview process
- Lead/support recruiting-related outreach to educational institutions (e.g., career fairs)
- Identify and communicate resource and/or professional development needs within the recruiting team
- Support other administrative tasks related to the recruitment process as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required, or four years of relevant industry experience
- East Coast candidates preferred
- A minimum of five years of previous recruiting management experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Lever or similar applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional candidate experience
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance
