Entry-level production and process engineers support manufacturing operations through production troubleshooting, process design calculations, technical documentation, process development, testing, validation, and continuous improvement. The role involves analyzing data, optimizing efficiency and reliability, resolving material and equipment issues, and preparing SOPs, specifications, drawings, and P&IDs. Positions are full-time at Naval Support Facility Indian Head and require U.S. citizenship plus the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.

Provide technical support on EPA research projects including designing and testing experiments, collecting and analyzing field and lab data, maintaining and calibrating equipment, supporting project documentation (QAPPs, reports), and collaborating with senior staff on modeling and exposure or emissions studies.

Develop mechanical designs for renovations at a federal site, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Manage full contract lifecycle for federal, state, and local agreements: prepare proposals, negotiate terms, ensure FAR compliance, perform pricing and risk analyses, mentor junior staff, and support contract closeout and process improvements.

Develop electrical designs for building renovations, prepare technical design packages, conduct technical reviews, and collaborate with project stakeholders.

Lead and oversee complex manufacturing operations in energetic materials production, focusing on process efficiency, safety compliance, and quality control.

The Senior Engineer will evaluate and support energetics processing, develop risk mitigation strategies, conduct hazard analyses, and mentor junior engineers.

This role involves research support for the EPA, reviewing hazardous waste site documents, mathematical modeling, report writing, and data interpretation, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

The Combustion Engineer/Scientist will execute and lead projects related to combustion systems, troubleshoot equipment, and support EPA compliance and research efforts.
