We are seeking a Recruiting Lead, Programmatic Hiring to join our team. This role will focus on intern hiring, veteran hiring, diversity initiatives, and sponsorships at conferences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in curated event planning and programming to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for these populations. This is an entrepreneurial role with high exposure to senior leadership, where you will have the opportunity to create a best-in-class function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intern Hiring:

    • Develop and execute strategies to attract and hire top intern talent.

    • Project manage the creation or maintenance of an intern to analyst program within specific business lines, with centralization and scale at consideration always.

    • Coordinate and participate in campus recruitment events and programming.

  • Veteran Hiring from Top MBA Programs:

    • Establish and maintain relationships with top MBA programs to identify and recruit veteran candidates.

    • Create and implement targeted outreach programs to engage veteran talent.

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and HR Partners to ensure a smooth transition for veteran hires.

  • Diversity Initiatives:

    • Lead diversity recruitment initiatives to attract a diverse pool of candidates.

    • Work with diversity-focused organizations and networks to promote job opportunities.

    • Track and report on diversity metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts.

  • Sponsorships at Conferences:

    • Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities at relevant conferences and events.

    • Represent the company and/or coordinate appropriate representation at industry conferences to network and attract potential candidates.

    • Plan and execute and staff recruitment events and activities at sponsored conferences.

  • Event Planning and Programming for Onboarding:

    • Design and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for interns, veterans, and diverse hires.

    • Organize orientation sessions, training programs, and networking events to facilitate a smooth onboarding process.

    • Continuously improve onboarding programs based on data driven feedback and industry best practices.

  • Ad Hoc HR Projects

    • The tasks undertaken by this individual could benefit other HR areas, particularly in onboarding. A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for developing scalable processes and collaborating with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and HR Operations are essential.

  • Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of experience in recruitment and/or events

    • Passionate about hiring and event planning.

    • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies.

    • Persuasive and able to communicate and market the firms value to competitive populations.

    • Excellent organizational skills.

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Exhibit an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify new opportunities, take initiative, and drive innovative solutions.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

    • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.

    • Data oriented and able to apply curiosity to identify data trends and communicate accordingly

    • Extremely proactive, self-starter

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $175,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
