The Role

Recruiting Coordinator - Costa Rica (contract) - fully remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own scheduling logistics across all teams and US/Costa Rica time zones — ensuring interviews are confirmed accurately and both candidates and interviewers have all necessary details.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to manage complex scheduling, proactively flag conflicts, and communicate updates clearly and promptly.
  • Leverage Greenhouse for scheduling, tracking, and analytics — automating workflows where possible to improve efficiency and maintain a consistent candidate experience.
  • Build strong partnerships with recruiters and hiring managers to anticipate scheduling or process challenges and resolve them before they become blockers.
  • Own new hire onboarding which includes sending welcome emails, initiating background checks, submitting onboard Jira Tickets and ensuring new hires have a smooth onboard.
  • Contribute to team projects and initiatives, taking ownership and driving them to completion with minimal supervision.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Experienced: You have at least 1 year of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Highly organized: You balance multiple priorities with precision and always follow through on commitments.
  • Proactive and dependable: You anticipate needs, communicate effectively, and take initiative rather than waiting for direction.
  • Candidate-obsessed: You care deeply about creating a smooth, human experience for every candidate and hiring partner.
  • Tech-savvy: You’re comfortable using recruiting tools like Greenhouse — and you’re curious and resourceful when learning new systems.
  • Collaborative: You build trust across teams and enjoy being a helpful, reliable partner.
