Vast is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Operations, to bring precision and care to how we coordinate interviewing across the company. You run interview scheduling and logistics across our open roles, working side by side with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to keep our process moving.

The Recruiting Coordinator will hold themselves at a high bar, with sharp attention to detail protecting the candidate experience every step of the way.

This will be a full-time, non-exempt (fixed-term for 6 months) position located onsite at our Long Beach location.

Responsibilities:

  • Run interview scheduling and onsite logistics across our open roles, including multi-round and panel interviews.
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates to keep scheduling and onsite logistics running smoothly, clear roadblocks as they come up, and build the relationships that keep our process moving.
  • Help document and maintain our coordination processes, and keep them current as we grow.
  • Flag friction in how we coordinate and suggest improvements.
  • Take on additional projects and tasks as needed to support the broader talent operations team. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years in recruiting coordination or a comparable administrative role
  • Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system, with Greenhouse preferred
  • Strong written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong ownership mindset with a focus on outcomes, accountability, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and building without a fully defined playbook
  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up or corporate environment
  • Strong customer service mindset
Pay Range: California
$26$44 USD

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Base salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand. Salary is just one component of our comprehensive compensation package.
