Campus is on a mission to maximize access to a world-class education.
The Role

About Campus

Campus is on a mission to accelerate the talent of tomorrow and reimagine what college can (and should) be. The problem is clear: college costs have skyrocketed, but outcomes haven’t. Traditional college hasn’t kept up with the aspirations of today’s students—and they can’t afford to wait.

At Campus, we’ve built a two-year, accredited college where students learn from top professors at universities like Princeton, Stanford, and Howard, in live, online classes. Our students graduate with in-demand business and AI skills—ready to launch their careers or transfer to top four-year universities. Our unique approach is grounded in a pioneering technology platform and a heavily-researched student success model that offers students dedicated advisors and on-demand tutoring and coaching. We were also named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies of 2024.

We’re backed by an exceptional investor team that believes deeply in our vision for the future of education, including General Catalyst, Founders Fund, Bloomberg Beta, 8VC, Rethink Education, Sam Altman, Jason Citron, Shaquille O’Neal, and others.

The world has changed. Higher ed needs to catch up, and we’re leading the way - come join us!

Position Overview

We're seeking an Academic Recruiting Associate to help grow, support, and retain an exceptional nationwide faculty network for Campus. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and wants to be deeply involved in shaping the faculty network behind a cutting-edge higher ed experience.

You’ll work closely with the Academic Operations, People & Recruiting Manager to drive recruitment, onboarding, and operational support for instructors and teaching assistants (TAs). You’ll also contribute to faculty experience initiatives, data tracking, systems management, and strategic recruiting/people ops projects that support our growing academic community.

  • Coordinate and support peer interviews with the Faculty Review Committee.
  • Help build degree-specific advisory boards by recruiting industry leaders aligned with our mission.

Faculty Operations & Experience

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date faculty data, hiring pipelines, and status tracking systems.
  • Support onboarding logistics: contracts, scheduling, orientation sessions, and handoffs to course leads.
  • Collaborate on systems and documentation that ensure a smooth, consistent faculty experience across roles.
  • Support regular feedback collection and follow-up from new hires and onboarding cohorts.

People Ops & Special Projects

  • Partner with the Academic Ops Manager on people ops projects across recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and retention.
  • Help coordinate and track team-wide initiatives, including training development, recognition systems, and community-building efforts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of our academic ops playbook and hiring systems.
  • Own administrative and coordination tasks that keep operations moving efficiently, including email comms, meeting scheduling, and vendor or tool updates.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in operations, recruitment, relationship management, and/or talent acquisition.
    • New grads are welcome to apply!
  • A natural people-person who thrives on engaging with candidates and representing Campus with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to identify and attract top education talent while aligning with our hiring criteria.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to grasp nuances and see the bigger picture.
  • Highly organized and consistently seeking opportunities to improve processes.
  • Eager to work as part of a dynamic, mission-driven team dedicated to transforming higher education for the better.

What We Do

Campus is a technology-driven company dedicated to accelerating the talent of tomorrow. We empower students to find their purpose, help them build a plan and support them as they achieve their goals through affordable, world-class education provided by professors from prestigious institutions such as Princeton, NYU, UCLA, and Spelman. By making education more accessible and customized to each individual's needs, we can achieve our mission of accelerating the talent of tomorrow, one student at a time.

Why Work With Us

We’re inspired by the efforts of those seeking to increase completion rates for community college students. We find the CUNY ASAP program and its efforts to address how systemic barriers and unique personal responsibilities may hinder many students completing their degree especially compelling.
