As a Recruiter at Wesco, you will partner with our leaders, hiring managers and HR partners to understand business needs and manage the full life cycle recruitment process, as well as design and implement recruiting strategies to build pipelines of talent.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with hiring managers to understand business needs, advise on market conditions and set an effective sourcing strategy
- Source and identify qualified candidates, conduct phone interviews and coordinate interview team interviews
- Facilitate a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Build brand awareness and attract the best talent by developing partnerships and relationships internally and externally
- Identify tools and technologies to enhance the Talent Acquisition process, source candidates more effectively and improve the candidate/hiring manager experienc
Qualifications:
- Bachelors' Degree required
- 2 years required experience in recruiting and staffing
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Oracle Recruiting Cloud preferred)
- 2 years required understanding of recruiting policies and practices and employment law
- 2 years preferred working knowledge of social media relative to the recruiting of candidates
- Experience with proactive sourcing using a variety of sourcing tools
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and negotiation skills
- Ability to establish rapport and build relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to conduct behavioral interviews to assess candidate capability
- Must be flexible, adaptable and well organized
