As a Plastipak Recruiter, you are a brand ambassador, engaging with plant manufacturing talent pools and Jackson Center area community partners to showcase all that Plastipak has to offer.  You'll leverage your expertise as a Recruiter to attract qualified candidates and hire talented associates to the Plastipak Jackson Center manufacturing site.

You Will

  • Leverage a variety of tools, channels and mediums to proactively attract quality plant manufacturing candidates to Plastipak.

  • Screen candidates, swiftly advancing talent through the interview & selection process, as well as successfully securing offers & clearing new hires to start.

  • Manage candidate experience, responding promptly to candidate inquiries & clearly communicating with all candidates in a respectful manner.

  • Establish & maintain partnerships with local groups & institutions to build talent pipelines.

  • Use Workday to facilitate the recruiting process & maintain accurate & compliant records.

  • Collaborate with the team to evaluate and improve the talent acquisition process, including talent selection.

  • Contribute to associate care & engagement activities, as well as serving as an HR resource for associates.

You Have

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Marketing or Communications preferred.

  • ​A minimum of two (2) years of recruiting experience.

  • Experience screening and qualifying candidates for semi-skilled & skilled positions in a manufacturing operation.

  • Proven success generating talent through community-based channels.  Existing relationships with associations & institutions in the Shelby County area is a plus.

  • Proficiency with recruitment technology, including Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Workday), communication platforms and recruiting via career hubs & social platforms.
