The Recruiter is responsible for supporting the full-cycle recruitment process in a virtual environment, including partnering with hiring managers, sourcing qualified candidates, screening applications, coordinating virtual interviews, and helping ensure a positive and timely candidate experience. This role serves as a key representative of the organization and helps build a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing needs across remote, hybrid, and onsite roles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
- Develop and post job descriptions in ATS system, and on job boards, social media, career sites, and other recruiting channels.
- Source active and passive candidates through databases, referrals, networking, professional platforms, and recruitment events.
- Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Coordinate and conduct phone, video, or in-person interviews to evaluate skills, experience, and alignment with role requirements, using online scheduling and collaboration tools.
- Coordinate interview schedules across time zones between candidates and hiring teams.
- Maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Provide clear, responsive communication to candidates and hiring teams through email, phone, video conferencing, chat, and applicant tracking system updates.
- Support the offer preparation, reference checks, background check coordination, and pre-employment steps as needed.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in the applicant tracking system.
- Use digital recruiting tools, job boards, social platforms, professional networks, and talent databases to source candidates for remote and distributed teams.
- Track recruiting metrics and provide updates to hiring managers and HR leadership.
- Represent the organization professionally at career events, and networking opportunities.
- Ensure recruiting practices comply with applicable employment laws, company policies, and equal employment opportunity standards.
- Other HR and recruiting assignments as needed.
Requirements
Experience, Skills, and Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, customer service, or administrative support required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build professional relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open roles and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining consistent communication, accountability, and follow-through.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office applications, applicant tracking systems (BambooHR), HR systems, job boards, and professional networking platforms.
- Proficiency with video conferencing platforms (Teams), online scheduling tools, job boards, and remote collaboration tools.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of employment laws, interviewing practices, and equal employment opportunity principles.
