The team designs and delivers solutions across hiring, culture, performance, and retention. Within HR, the Talent Acquisition team plays a critical role in attracting and selecting talent that fuels organizational success. The team balances process discipline with flexibility, ensuring every candidate has a best-in-class experience while tailoring strategies to the unique needs of each business unit.
About the Role
This position will manage full-cycle hiring for corporate functions while also flexing to lead searches within our Lillibridge property operations team, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ventas focused on managing medical office buildings nationwide. The role requires a versatile recruiter capable of shifting between corporate and field priorities, supporting both strategic enterprise hiring and essential property-level roles.
Success requires strong executional discipline, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of business priorities to align talent strategies with long-term goals. The position combines strategic partnership and hands-on delivery, with key responsibilities that include:
Partner with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and deliver tailored recruiting strategies.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management.
Source talent through job boards, trade schools, community partnerships, and proactive outreach to passive candidates.
Build and maintain candidate pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
Advise leadership on market trends, candidate availability, and competitive intelligence.
Collaborate with the broader TA team to ensure alignment in employer branding, recruiting tools, and reporting.
Track and analyze recruiting metrics, using data to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity, with the flexibility to support broader HR initiatives as part of a lean, collaborative team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, or related field
4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally within field operations, technical, or property management functions
Must be located in Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations.
Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging both active and passive candidates in competitive labor markets
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and advise leadership across field and corporate functions
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards)
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
High level of integrity, judgment, and resilience; able to work independently while building strong partnerships
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
The estimated base salary range for this role is $95,000 - $125,000. Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as work location, skills, relevant experience, and business needs. In addition to base pay, employees at Ventas are eligible for performance-based incentives and comprehensive benefits. This range represents a good-faith estimate of base salary at the time of posting and is not a guarantee of compensation.
