Savan is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working teammate with excellent written and oral communication skills to serve as a Technical Writer for Federal Records Management Policies, Procedures, and Regulations. As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in shaping and communicating policies that impact our nation on behalf of our federal customers. Your work will involve researching, analyzing, and drafting policy documents that guide government decisions and actions.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and facilitate policy development for various Federal Records Management programs and services.
- Conduct in-depth research on complex policy issues related to federal Records Management programs, regulations, and legislation.
- Analyze data, evaluate options, and recommend evidence-based policy solutions.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts, stakeholders, and decision-makers.
- Draft clear, concise, and well-organized policy documents, including reports, briefs, memos, and guidelines.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management, legislators, and other relevant parties.
- Communicate complex technical material effectively to both specialists and non-specialists.
- Stay informed about federal laws, regulations, and executive orders.
- Ensure policy proposals align with legal requirements and ethical considerations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communication, Business, other related fields.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be a US citizen.

Compensation

Salary determination for potential new employees is influenced by a combination of factors, including years of experience, educational qualifications, specialized skills and expertise relevant to the job, complexity, and scope of the role's responsibilities, internal salary structures, as well as the geographic location of the job.
