Savan is currently looking for a Records Analyst to support a federal government client. The Records Analyst assists in the development of records schedules, policies, and procedures, as well as manages the transfer of records to storage.
Role Responsibilities

  • Support government records officers in ensuring the customer is within compliance with The Federal Records Management Act and all related statutes, federal regulations, and Client’s policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and institute Records Control Schedules (RCS) and coordinate RCS with NARA.
  • Create and implement RCS to address records from creation to disposition for both paper and electronic records.
  • Provide customer support to customer personnel and develop and deliver records management training.
  • Consult and coordinate with client elements on the development and consistent implementation of client’s records management policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement plans for Vital Records identification and protection.
  • Develop File Plans
  • Prepare records transfers to offsite storage and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Federal government physical and electronic records and information management
  • Demonstrated experience in Federal or corporate recordkeeping compliance, processes, and procedures, including the ability to develop Federal government-compliant records schedules, policies, procedures, identification and file plans as well as the ability to manage the transfer of Federal records to Federal Records Centers or other offsite storage
  • Demonstrated experience with Records Disposition Schedules and coordination of policy changes through the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)
  • Ability to perform roles and responsibilities.
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Active Public Trust clearance or the ability to undergo a background investigation to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certificate in Federal Records Management and/or Certified Records Manager (CRM)
  • Experience using READ system
  • Experience using ARCIS system
  • Experience using Iron Mountain IMConnect software

Compensation
Savan believes in offering fair and competitive compensation to all employees. Our salary structures are based on industry standards, market conditions, and the specific demands of each role. Salary determination for potential new employees is influenced by a combination of factors, including years of experience, educational qualifications, specialized skills and expertise relevant to the job, complexity, and scope of the role's responsibilities, internal salary structures, as well as the geographic location of the job. Salary history will not be used in compensation decisions. 
Compensation Range:$53,000.00-$73,000.00
