Overview
This role is responsible for leading the execution of construction-related projects from initial handoff through final completion. The Project Manager serves as the central point of coordination across estimating, operations, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to defined quality standards. This position requires strong operational discipline, organizational rigor, and the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
Project Execution & Financial Performance
Translate project estimates into actionable execution plans and successfully deliver completed projects
Own project-level financial outcomes, including cost control, margin performance, and overall profitability
Analyze completed projects to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and margin enhancement
Develop and manage production schedules that ensure efficient workflow and timely completion
Pre-plan all aspects of projects including labor, materials, subcontractors, and timelines
Coordinate material procurement and ensure jobsite readiness to avoid productivity disruptions
Schedule subcontractors effectively to maintain workflow continuity and avoid delays or trade stacking
Identify, vet, and manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring alignment on pricing, quality, and timelines
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure adherence to scope, and maintain quality standards
Verify that work completed aligns with project specifications and company expectations
Ensure jobsites remain clean, safe, and professionally maintained
Address issues proactively to prevent rework or delays
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Communicate schedules, milestones, expectations, and any changes clearly and proactively
Maintain consistent communication cadence, including regular updates and on-site meetings
Respond quickly to client questions or concerns and ensure resolution in a timely manner
Maintain accurate and complete project documentation including contracts, change orders, photos, and completion records
Track and log all relevant communications with stakeholders
Ensure all project files are organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible
Submit required paperwork accurately and within required timelines
Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining visibility into all active workstreams
Continuously monitor project progress against schedules and budgets
Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and outcomes
Demonstrate strong leadership by motivating teams and fostering a positive, solutions-oriented work environment
Represent the organization professionally through communication, appearance, and conduct
Collaborate effectively across teams to resolve challenges and drive results
Adhere to established processes while identifying opportunities to improve systems and workflows
Take initiative in identifying additional responsibilities and contributing to overall operational success
