Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Reconciliation Analyst to join our Finance team in Bangalore. This role sits at the heart of our financial operations, owning end-to-end reconciliation across crypto and fiat workflows. You will work closely with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to maintain the accuracy of our books, detect anomalies early, and continuously improve our reconciliation infrastructure.

Key responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end Crypto Transaction reconciliation — ensuring timely completion post month-close, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining audit-ready trial balances
• Investigate alerts generated by both on-chain and off-chain transaction monitoring systems,  detect double-spend events, and recover funds where applicable
• Implement exception handling in daily reconciliation processes to strengthen financial controls
• Proactively identify leaks or irregularities across exchange and wallet flows and escalate promptly
• Perform daily transaction reconciliation between internal systems, payment gateways, and banking partners
• Identify and investigate transaction mismatches, settlement discrepancies, and missing transactions
• Proactively identify process gaps, recurring discrepancies, or operational inefficiencies
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve process consistency
• Support the audit process by ensuring reconciliation outputs are accurate, well-documented, and readily available

Requirement:

• 2–4 years of experience in a reconciliation, finance operations, or accounting role — preferably in fintech, crypto, or payments
• Basic understanding of crypto transaction flows, including on-chain mechanics, exchange settlements, and wallet movements
• Hands-on experience with reconciliation tools (experience with Cryptio or similar crypto accounting platforms is a strong plus)
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with SQL or automation scripting (Python/Macros) is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; CA (Inter) or equivalent is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work with large transactional datasets

Must-Have Signals:

• Prior experience in reconciliation, finance operations, or accounting
• Hands-on exposure to crypto or fiat transaction flows
• Experience preparing or reviewing monthly reconciliations
• Demonstrated ability to identify discrepancies and resolve them independently
• Strong Excel or automation tool proficiency
• Ownership mindset — takes accountability without being asked

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Cryptio, Fineye, or similar crypto accounting tools
• Background in Web3 / crypto / fintech environments
• Exposure to exchange or wallet settlement mechanics
• Basic scripting or workflow automation experience (Python, SQL, macros)
