We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Sacramento, CA Office!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides administrative support for all departments such as, printing, filing, photocopying, data entry, scanning, binding and collating, scheduling meetings, booking reservations for lunch or dinner meetings, and coordinating events and lunches, mail distribution and mail-outs.

  • Greets clients and routes incoming calls to appropriate department/individual

  • Orders, receives and maintains office supplies

  • Sends letters to clients regarding new policies, overdue payments and closing policies

  • Process payments over the phone and handles check deposits

  • Assist and support all departments with administrative tasks and projects.


FACTORS FOR SUCCESS:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not needed)

  • 1-2 years of related administrative experience, or an equivalent of education and experience

  • Demonstrated computer proficiency - Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Proven oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization

The expected salary range for this position is $20-23/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA and 401(k) accounts, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, equity and commissions for some positions.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

This position primarily involves remaining in a stationary position for the majority of the workday. 

The person in this position frequently communicates with colleagues and clients both in person and on the telephone; Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc
