Position Summary
Reporting to the Lead Executive Assistant and Office Manager, the Receptionist is responsible for providing a range of administrative and operational support at Tyree & D'Angelo Partners. This is a very attractive role with the opportunity to interact with office visitors and will have high visibility to other employees of the firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Open and/or close office daily
- Maintain front desk and greet visitors in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner
- Track upcoming meetings and set up meeting room with necessary stationery and equipment
- Answer and screen inbound calls on multi-line phones in a timely and polite manner
- Take and deliver messages accurately and completely
- Distribute incoming mail, prepare and send outgoing mail, arrange couriers, and unpack deliveries
- Monitor office and break room inventory, placing supply orders when necessary
- Maintain office equipment
- Keep office clean, stocked, and organized
- Ad hoc projects
Required Criteria (100% must be met for consideration)
- Previous experience in customer service settings
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to sit for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
- Schedule: must be able to work mornings, M-F from 7am-12pm in the TDP Office in downtown Chicago
