This position is based in our Washington D.C. office located on 660 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Description:

We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team. The receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, answering a multi-line telephone, scheduling use of conference rooms, and performing clerical duties in support of the daily activities of the firm. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Answer telephone calls; take messages as required.
  • Greet visitors in a professional manner, announce and direct to proper location.
  • Distribute messages to personnel via voice mail, email, or as otherwise instructed.
  • Schedule conference room meetings.
  • Track location of office personnel as required.
  • Assist with administrative support tasks.
  • Maintain keycard system.
  • Maintain office supplies: inventory, pricing and ordering.
  • Coordinate vendors for maintenance of facilities including building and equipment.
  • Special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in related areas; previous experience in a legal environment a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn various computer software applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent business and telephone etiquette skills.

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

This position may be filled in District of Columbia. The base salary range for this position is $27.60/hr - $41.50/hr. This range may not be applicable to other locations.  An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience. In addition to the base compensation, Holland & Knight provides bonus opportunities and an exceptional benefits package.
