Lincoln Meadows Care Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and healthcare professionals and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to remain professional and compassionate in a busy healthcare setting.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesGreet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and messages.
Assist visitors with sign-in procedures and facility information.
Maintain a welcoming, organized, and professional reception area.
Provide administrative and clerical support as needed.
Assist with resident and family inquiries while maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
Receive and distribute mail and other correspondence.
Follow facility policies and procedures, including safety and infection-control requirements.
Communicate effectively with nursing, administration, and other departments.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, healthcare, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional, courteous, and compassionate demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and interact effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and facility requirements.
Must be dependable and able to work with open availability, including varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
