REPORTS TO: ADMINISTRATOR

JOB SUMMARY: The Receptionist is responsible for greeting all individuals into the front office area and responding to their business needs, while monitoring all visitors who enter the facility for security purposes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Greet all individuals into the front office area in a pleasant manner and responding to their business needs, while monitoring all visitors who enter the facility for security purposes. 
  • Conduct normal telephone protocol by answering all incoming calls and responding appropriately to their requests or questions and taking messages when needed. 
  • Process all outgoing mail and maintain the front office area, which includes all business equipment used on a daily basis. 
  • Handle resident monies and complete receipts out of the Resident Trust Funds for distribution upon request by residents. 
  • Accept all incoming revenues and distribute to the appropriate staff person. 
  • Complete daily deposit slips for resident monies and meals, cokes, stamps, etc. 
  • Understand and adhere to the guidelines of “Residents Rights” and assure resident safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required 

  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with all types of individuals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.

WORK SCHEDULE: As assigned, including some weekends, evenings and holidays;

WORK ENVIRONMENT: General Office
